Meet The Team

Neil Emburey, FPFS
Managing Director and Chartered Financial Planner
I have worked in financial services since 1995 and in that time have acquired not only the qualifications that allow me to advise clients, but more importantly the skills such as active listening, strategic planning, and clear communication that enable me to work with my clients.
My ability to help clients see the bigger picture and identify what really matters ensures that their financial plans are aligned with their life goals, not just their immediate needs.
My aim is quite simple and is fully aligned to the philosophy of Embers Wealth Management, I want to become one of ‘the family’ and be in your inner circle, your trusted adviser on all financial matters. I will work tirelessly to achieve and maintain that status of trust with you.
I am a Fellow and Chartered Financial Planner of the Personal Finance Society, a division of the Chartered Insurance Institute. I am also a Chartered Fellow (Financial Planning) with the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment.
Outside of work I enjoy socialising with family and friends, I am occasionally seen on the golf course (trying my best) and spend my weekends following my childhood football team – Sutton United – please don’t hold that against me!

Julie Emburey
Director and Office Manager
My career started with a large retail bank, ultimately becoming a Branch Manager at two of their prestigious London branches. During this time I also undertook the qualifications to become a Financial Adviser but left the industry in the early 2000’s to undertake the hardest job in the world – being a mum to two boys!
My role within Embers Wealth Management is that of Office Manager, ensuring that everything works and I also liaise with Neil and Ben to assist them in delivering a first-class service to our clients.
Outside of work I enjoy holidays and socialising with friends and family. I am a keen runner and have completed several half marathons. I am very pleased to state that I do NOT follow Sutton United and instead enjoy the peace at weekends, which allows me to participate in my favourite pastime – retail therapy!.

Ben Emburey
Administrator
I recently graduated from Winchester University, achieving an Upper Second-Class honours in Business Management. I am currently studying the Regulated Diploma in Financial Services, via the Personal Finance Society, to date I have undertaken and passed 3 of the 6 units, with a view to finalising this qualification over the next couple of years.
My role within Embers Wealth Management is initially to provide the back-office support to Neil and at the same time learn all aspects of the business from the ground up, with the ultimate aim to become a fully qualified financial planner.
Outside of work I enjoy keeping fit, I am also an avid F1 fan. I have inherited the love for Sutton United, so travel the country to follow them at weekends.

Tom Emburey
Whilst Tom is no longer with us, we couldn’t leave him out of this section. As fundamentally it was his passing that led to the creation of Embers Wealth Management. Furthermore, his memory drives our moral compass and direction of travel, so he is an integral part of Embers Wealth Management and our lives.
Tom was a very sociable young man who enjoyed time with his friends and family. He is deeply missed by all that knew him.
